Yes. I am still here!

I am still here. I know it has been so long since I updated anything and so much has changed.
I now have a 1st grader and one in 5 day a week Pre-K. Yes I do spend a lot of time in the car. Our life being crazy is a huge understatement. Zach is working on his masters and I am deep in nursing school (3 more semesters) and with the boys school and extra activities, it is amazing I am not on medication. HA! We still manage to have a great time with our family and would not change a bit of it! I will post again soon, when I need to push studying off again. ;)

Happy Mother's Day!

I received a card from Eli that he made in school, it was too precious! He wrote me a sweet message that said:

Dear Mommy,
You are the best mom in the world!
You are very sweet! Happy Mother's Day!
Love, Eli

How sweet is that?! Love that boy! On the other side of the card they answered questions about mommy:

1.How old is your mother?
"I think she is about 26 or something" ( I wish;))
2.What is her favorite food?
"Regular cake" (funny because I really don't like cake)
3.What is her favorite color?
"blue"
4.What is her favorite restaurant?
"I think Wendy's" (more like his favorite)
5.What color are your mother's eyes?
"green"
6. What kind of work does your mother do?
"actually she cooks for us"
7. What is she afraid of?
"rats, snakes, and lions"
8.If she had $100, what would she buy?
"she might buy a flower"
9.What would she like to have more than anything in the whole world?
"Her family!" (aww)
10. What is the best thing about your mother?
"she likes to play Mario and Donkey Kong! (haha)

I just love this! I love my Eli, and of course all my boys!

No Power!

We are so blessed that we were really not affected with this weeks storms! All we are dealing with is the no power issue. We decided yesterday that the kids(Isaac) had reached his limit, so we packed up and fled to my grandmothers house in Memphis. Isaac is getting over a horrific ear infection and we had kept his antibiotic cold as long as we could and he was just miserable.
Can I just say how much I appreciate electricity! I had no idea how much I vacuum on a daily basis until I can't clean up all the crumbs my kids make. You cant sweep rugs very well:)
I hope everyone is safe and doing well!

"All for Love"

I just love this song by "Hillsong." They are in my opinion, the best praise and worship out there!:) It is a song I love to have playing while I do my quiet time. It is so often my personal prayer. Look it up on Pandora or Grooveshark to listen. You will be blessed if you have never heard it.

"All for Love"

All for love a Father gave
For only love could make a way
All for love the heavens cried
For love was crucified

Oh how many times have I broken Your heart
But still You forgive
If only I ask
And how many times have You heard me pray
Draw near to me

Everything I need is You
My beginning, my forever
Everything I need is You

Let me sing all for love
I will join the angel song
Ever holy is the Lord
King of Glory
King of all

Oh how many times have I broken Your heart
But still You forgive
If only I ask
And how many times have You heard me pray
Draw near to me

Everything I need is You
My beginning, my forever
Everything I need is You (x2)

All for a love a Saviour prayed
Abba Father have Your way
Though they know not what they do
Let the Cross draw man to You

Everything I need is You
My beginning, my forever
Everything I need is You (x2)

Merry Christmas!!!!!

Here is Eli and Micah sledding on the WHITE Christmas morning! Oh P.S. These pics are really out of order but I am obviously dumb because I cant figure out how to change them around:)
This is Isaac Christmas morning... He was not to sure what to think about everything, he just sat there for a while looking around.
Getting a little more into the presents!
This is a pic of Eli bring Isaac in from his room to look at his presents!( again out of order)
I just thought these next few were so cute of the boys playing in the snow. Cute Micah!
Yummy snow!

Handsome boy! He looks 25 in this picture to me!:(
Just enjoying all of their new stuff!
Sweet brothers!
This is from Christmas Eve at my parents and Isaac and his cousin Toby( the 2 babies) kept sneaking food and candy off of the table, so this is Isaac eating a haystack candy! I think he enjoyed it!

Opening some presents!
Eli and Isaac! Eli loves his baby!
By this time we had changed all the kids into their Christmas pj's and were attempting to get a picture of very tired children.
Again out of order, but this is Zach reading the Christmas story before we sang happy birthday to Jesus and opened presents.

This was earlier during the day Christmas eve, but I thought it was sweet Eli was reading Micah a Christmas book!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Family Reunion!

I love my boys so much! I am truly blessed and thankful that the Lord choose me to be Zach's wife and the mother of THREE boys! With that said, this was a picture of my boys getting ready for the hay ride at my family reunion this past weekend. This was a reunion for my maternal grandmother's side of the family. She is one of 10 children and 8 are still living. The oldest died of polio at age 3 and one of her brothers died a few years back, but all are in pretty good health. So needless to say with all of their children and grandchildren it was a large group!
A few of us getting ready for a hayride!
A cute one of Isaac and Micah!
My big boy! I cant beleive he is almost 6yrs!
Sweet Isaac!
Just a cute one of Isaac "eating" a blueberry muffin! Messy boy!

Family Bowling night!

We went bowling a few weeks ago and had a great time! We have been so busy we finally had a free Friday night, so off we went! This was our attempt at a family picture, you can barley see Isaac's head behind the monitor and Micah has his finger in his nose. Oh well we tried:)
Boys loved it!
We went to the alley on the arsenal and there was a group of soldiers bowling next to us and they were so great at helping the kids get their balls out so they would not get their fingers pinched. Of course mommy and daddy helped most of the time:)
Here is Isaac just chillin in his $1.00 umbrella stroller thanks to Emily Eckley! Thanks Emily, you rock!

Isaac walking!

Here is "buzz" and "woody" saying cheese! They wanted their picture taken:)
Here is a sweet picture of daddy and Isaac! Aren't they cute!

Here is is picture of Isaac walking around. Him walking is really not new news, I have just taken a while to get a post up. He took his first steps at 9 1/2 mo and then just took off at 10mo. He is into everything now, but he is so stinkin cute, so it is all good:)

Isaac is 9 Months!

I can't believe you are 9 months old! Where is the time going?!?

Isaac you continue to be the sweetest little boy! You love to play and explore and you are just plain busy. You crawl everywhere and you are cruising now too.
You love music and you always "dance" and clap along. You say "MaMa", "DaDa", "BaBa"(bye bye) and I am pretty sure you are trying to say "more" when you are eating by going "Ma" really loudly and very insistently. You have been saying that with the sign for more the past few days, so I think that is what you are trying to say?
You are letting go of things when you are standing, so I am confident that it will not be long before you start walking. Mommy is not sure if she is ready for three boys running around.:)
You are such a joy and are getting to a really fun age! You are wonderful blessing to your mommy and daddy, we love you Isaac Buggie!

Frustrated Perfectionist!

Well, just as the title says, I am a frustrated perfectionist! I was talking about this with my good friends Emily Eckley and Jessica Mobley, about how I use to have a cleaning schedule and my house was always clean down to the base boards.

SIGH, three BOYS later and those days are gone. How easy it was to get things done with just one child! I am writing this as a plea to other mothers who have multiple children, how do you keep your house up? I am looking for suggestions! My children have chores and do them pretty well, but still I feel behind. I know I have a very high standard and that may be part of the problem?!:) Help fellow moms!

Training them up!

Training them up in the way they should go? What does that really mean? These are both questions I had early in my mothering years. In those days I was just like so many mothers looking for someone to tell me how to do it. I knew I wanted two things or sure, godly children, and "well" behaved children. I thought arrogantly, "that's easy enough." I was so wrong and had so much to learn. I began this road by trying to do things like someone else or like a book would tell me, this did nothing but frustrate me. God blessed me with a very strong willed and active first born, he did not fit any mold. I also realized that I had somewhat left my sweet husband out of the equation. Don't get me wrong he would pray with him and things like that, but I was making most of the child rearing decisions and he went along with them.
After seeking God's word we sorta took a step back and revamped our approach. Zach began to lead and making most of the child rearing decisions and I began to learn how to follow. Those of you who know me realize that is not easy for me to do.:) Dont get me wrong I still ran the day to day stuff, but he decided the direction. This was so freeing to me! It put the "pressure" where it was supposed to be and really helped me not worry so much.
Now I am so far from perfect and I mess up daily, but my prayer for my children is that they come to know and love Jesus in spite of me. That is our principle/objective. I find sometimes they we can get hung up on the methods and loose sight of the principle. We as moms tend to do this more than anyone. As long as someones principle is ultimately Jesus then we should not get caught up on their methods. Sorry I will get off my soap box for the day.
I post this video not to say look at us, even though I am so proud of my sweet Micah, but I just want to encourage you mommy's to continue to love and train up your sweet children!

House

Dear blog friends,
Please pray for the sale of our house! Someone came and looked at it tonight and liked it. She has narrowed it down to 4 houses. I would love to sell it because I am tired of "trying" to keep it clean. God is in control of this and if we dont sell it and we loose the house we are building then that is what God has for us. I of course want my new house, but God know best!
Trusting in Him

Last day of Pre-K

I meant to post these the other day, but here is Eli on his way to his last day of Preschool. He absolutely loved going to school! He has really grown up this year he is not a toddler or a little boy, but a full out big boy! Love you Eli!
Here is a picture with his teacher Mrs. Cox! We were so happy that he got her as a teacher, she was just what our spunky (strong willed) boy needed! She was firm but very kind had a detailed routine everyday and was just perfect for him. I no longer get rough reports from Sunday school teachers or anyone in a classroom environment! Like I said he is "spunky." We are praying he get a kindergarten teacher like her! Ahhhh Kindergarten!!! How did I get old enough to have a kindergartner!!!!!!!

Isaac is 7 Months

My Sweet Baby Boy is 7 Months! I can hardly believe it, it seems just like yesterday he was born!
He is doing so many fun things right now! I love this age! He can get anywhere he wants to and just wants to get down and go! He has accomplished two new things just today. He grabbed the ottoman and pulled himself up to his knees, he very quickly fell backwards because he does not get the continually holding on thing! Another thing he did today was sitting himself back up after being on his stomach. He has done a lot today because this is the first day he has really felt good since Sat. He is a very happy and content baby and loves people and will go to pretty much anybody. He is such a sweetie, Love you Isaac Buggie!
You will have to excuse the no shirt, he was wearing his dinner!:)
This is Isaac trying to get the camera and eat it! He would not stay in one place, no matter where I went he kept trying to get the camera! I told ya'll he was active, but what do you expect from a boy!:)

These 3 are trouble! Sweet friends!
Micah was so proud of his first award! It was really sweet fo this to have happened on Mothers Day! Love you Micah!
He did so good!

My boys got me roses and did Choc. Covered strawberries for mothers day!
